Shlomo Zohar

Shlomo Zohar has over 30 years of experience in accounting, banking, finance and executive leadership in the public and private sectors.

The foundation of Mr. Zohar’s vast experience was established during his role as a Managing Partner and CPA at the firm of Zohar, Zohar & Co. (merged into Deloitte Israel) from 1980 to 2005. In the past decade, Mr. Zohar has been appointed to numerous prominent positions at renowned corporations including Chairman of the Boards of Israel Discount Bank Ltd., Mercantile Discount Bank Ltd., Israel Discount Capital Markets & Investments Ltd., Cal Israel (Visa) Credit Cards Ltd and ADO Group Ltd.

He served as Director and Vice Chairman of the Board of Israel Discount Bank of New York. Mr. Zohar was also Advisor, Consultant and Member of the Board Directors at Delek US Holdings, Inc. (oil & gas businesses), Blue Square Israel Ltd. (food retail chains) and Discount Bancorp Inc.

In addition to his many achievements in the corporate world, Mr. Zohar has been a lecturer at Bar Ilan University, Tel Aviv University and the College of Management Academic Studies on the subjects of Audit and Accounting (1980- 2005). He has also been a 25 year member of the Audit Standards and Internal Accounting Committees of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants Israel (1980-2005).

Mr. Zohar has a BA in Economics and Accounting from Bar Ilan University Israel and an MBA from McGill University, Montreal in Business Administration with a specialty in Accounting and Finance.

Jay L. Pomrenze

Jay L. Pomrenze was a Managing Director of Bankers Trust Company and a member of the firm's Management Committee. Mr. Pomrenze joined Bankers Trust Company in 1973. He was named head of world-wide foreign exchange activities in 1984 and head of all trading in 1988. He was then involved in managing the firm's risk taking activities, and subsequently was named to manage the firm's business activities in Emerging Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Mr. Pomrenze took a Sabbatical in 1990-1991 to live and study in Jerusalem. With the sale of Bankers Trust to Deutsche Bank in June 1999, Pomrenze retired from Bankers Trust and formed an investment vehicle called Caymen Advisors with Kelly Doherty, of which both are Partners.He was retained as a consultant to Deutsche Bank.

He is currently an active partner in Clarity-KCPS Capital, an Israel based asset management firm. Mr. Pomrenze graduated with a BA degree from Yeshiva University in 1970 and received an MBA from New York University in 1973. He also received an MA in philosophy from Yeshiva University and his Rabbinical Ordination in 1973. He is married to Huti Ramras and has three married children.

Dr. Daniel Kurtzer

Ambassador (Ret.) Dr. Daniel Kurtzer brings a noted public policy background, an extensive academic background, and the skills of an author to his position as Advisory Board Member of PointRF Systems PLC. Currently a professor at Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs, Dr. Kurtzer has served as the U.S. Ambassador to both Israel and Egypt, as an advisor to the Iraq Study Group, as a member of the Board of the American University in Cairo, as the first Commissioner of the professional Israel Baseball League, and as a member of the New Jersey-Israel Commission. Fluent in English and Hebrew, he is author of numerous articles, papers, and other published writings, and co-author of Negotiating Arab-Israeli Peace: American Leadership in the Middle East, and The Peace Puzzle: America’s Quest for Arab-Israeli Peace, 1989-2011.

After 29 distinguished years in the U.S. Foreign Service, Dr. Kurtzer retired in 2005 with the rank of Career-Minister, having served from 2001-2005 as the United States Ambassador to Israel and from 1997-2001 as the United States Ambassador to Egypt. During the span of his career, he also served as a political officer at the American Embassies in Cairo and Tel Aviv, as Deputy Director of the Office of Egyptian Affairs, as speechwriter on the Policy Planning Staff, as Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs, and as Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Intelligence and Research.

Throughout his work in the Foreign Service, Dr. Kurtzer was instrumental in formulating and executing U.S. policy toward the Middle East peace process. He crafted the 1988 peace initiative of Secretary of State George P. Shultz, and in 1991 he served as a member of the U.S. peace team that brought about the Madrid Peace Conference. Subsequently, he served as coordinator of the multilateral peace negotiations and as the U.S. Representative in the Multilateral Refugee Working Group.

Dr. Kurtzer has received several of the U.S. Government's most prestigious awards, including the President's Distinguished Service Award, the Department of State Distinguished Service Award, the National Intelligence Community's Award for Achievement, and the Director General of the Foreign Service Award for Political Reporting.

Dr. Kurtzer holds a Ph.D in political science from Columbia University.

Dr. Teena L. Lerner

As a twenty-year-plus senior professional in the investment business, Dr. Teena L. Lerner brings in-depth investment, finance and accounting experience to the Advisory Board of PointRF Systems PLC. Her additional expertise in growth companies, and her in-depth knowledge of all aspects of the healthcare industry, provide her with outstanding opportunities to contribute to the success of PointRF Systems PLC.

Dr. Lerner was Founder and CEO of Rx Capital Management, a long-short healthcare equity hedge fund. Previously she was a Principal at Pequot Capital Management and a Managing Director in Equity Research at Lehman Brothers. At Rx Capital and Pequot Capital, Dr. Lerner managed investment funds of $700 million and $1.5 billion, respectively. While at Lehman Brothers, Dr. Lerner achieved Institutional Investor Magazine "All Star" recognition in biotechnology for seven consecutive years; she appeared often on financial television and has been quoted frequently in the financial press.

Dr. Lerner currently serves on the Board of the Jewish Communal Fund, on the Technology Transfer Advisory Committee of The Rockefeller University, and as Chair of the Development Committee and member of the Finance Committee at Salanter Akiba Riverdale (SAR) Academy, a K-12 Day School in the Riverdale neighborhood of New York City.

Dr. Lerner holds an MBA in Finance from New York University and a PhD in Molecular Biology from Rockefeller University.

Henry Turko

Co founder and President of MyRingGuard a personal safety product company that develops & markets smart-phone Apps and call for help rings.

Prior to MyRingGuard, Mr. Turko served as Director at Nokia, Vice President at Network Peripherals, Amplify.Net, IDCide, and LearningGate.

Mr. Turko also headed the Systems Business Unit of KroutKramer Branson and the Networking Hardware business at Wang Laboratories.

He has also co-founded and served on the board of several Open Source associations including the SA Forum, SCOPE Alliance, and OpenSAF

He holds an advanced engineering degree from The City University of New York and an MBA from Southern New Hampshire University.

Yossi Korakin

Mr. Yossi Korakin has over 17 years of experience in Business Development, R&D and Project Management at both small startup and large companies. Acknowledged for his aptitude and understanding of the Business-Technology Interface and capacity to identify and align emerging technology, Mr. Korakin brings a diverse technical and operational expertise.

Mr. Korakin has co-founded three consecutive hi-tech startups and secured venture capital and private funding leading to successful sale of each company.

Prior to this Mr. Korakin spent over seven years as a Major in the elite Intelligence Unit at the Israeli Ministry of Defence, with extensive experience in the management of multi-disciplinarian R&D projects at the area of cyber, cellular and data communication, involving complex, cutting edge technologies. Mr. Korakin currently serves on the Board of Directors at various hi-tech companies worldwide.
